Entry Requirements
Everyone is welcome! There are no requirements to have completed any other MTB Enduro event in order to participate in Capital Punishment. We do however have some minimum ages. The minimum age requirement on race day for the 100km is 18 years old. The minimum age requirement on race day for the 50km is 15 years old.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are capable of completing this event. Please ensure that you have adequate fitness, MTB skill, experience, and equipment to complete this race, which may take 100km riders up to 10hrs to finish. The course includes purpose built mountain bike single track that requires a certain level of skill to ride. First aid / rescue response times will be slower on single track as a vehicle can only be driven to the nearest dirt road.
Ensure that you are in good health and that you do not have any illness or injury that will hinder your ability to complete the event. It is your responsibility to monitor your health and condition during the event and to withdraw from the event if you are no longer fit enough to continue.
During online entry, you are required to tick a box saying you have read and understood the Indemnity & Release. At event registration, riders will also sign a sign-in sheet saying they have read and understood the Indemnity & Release. Only riders under 18 years old and their parents or guardians need to print off the Indemnity & Release Form, read, print, sign and hand it in at event registration.
